Nice review i suscribe, my only complaint is that the name of the character vyse is pronounced vaais, not vis, but the review is great
So many spoilers in this review!
Pirate theme version of wild arms xd
One of my favorite games since they brought the remakes of dragon quest and to the ds i always hoped they would bring this back. So that a new generation can enjoy it as well.
My favorite game of all time, bar none. Granted i played it on dreamcast first, but since the most recent iteration is still legends which is criminal imo lol where s my remake sega? Okay okay, do shenmue i ii first, but still! I keep a copy to play every so often lol. Nice review of what i consider a classic.
Haha my favorite game that has my name sorta and u posted on my birthday
What s that song called?
It s pronounced like vice, not veece. And then a ka, nay aye ka
I m here for the t
Wait, so the evil mind behind everything was a cat?
My fucking childhood. Too bad its made by a broke ass company like sega. This game deserves an animation and much much more!
A little slow is putting it mildly, but i like that you can see the game s shortcomings in spite of having a nostalgic bias in your review. If sega ever fixes the issues on this game i might be willing to give it a second chance. Maybe someone can hack it?
For me, gamecube version sucks, because the ost are really bad, meanwhile on dreamcast are god of videogame music. Then, the polygonal models of the hands. Better that on dreamcast because on gamecube is more clear but less good to see. Then the missing vmu gives a really bad time when you have to do cham hunting, that vibration is so bad despite the wonderful vmu sound system. I ll play one day gamecube version only for optional bosses that aren t on dc version, but without that thing that makes the best jrpg ever played in my life the ost armada theme at the beginning. Horrible on gamecube is hard that i will feel some adventure feeling that dc version gives me every time i play it. Even for the less fighting rate, that makes too easy to level up. Jrpg are a genre where is a classic to fight a lot, so with less fight and too many exp points at the end of the battle. There isn t not satisfation to level up. Skies of arcadia on dc have a much less battle rate than other games like shin megami tensei, final fantasy vi or other retr jrpg. S gamecube version was a bad result to favorite the non pro jrpg player that wishes easy life with less fighting. I too have got nervous sometime on dc version, but in calm times i think that is right to have less exp point, otherwise is not satisfying to beat the boss with so less fighting in that single dungeon where we are in, on that moment. Excuse me for bad english, i m italian so in my country english is not the first national language
Blue pirates blue pirates? Blue. Rogues. It s said times throughout the entire game. It s like mistaking the moons for stars.
You can also drop a moon on people in this.
